WHICH PLATFORM IS BEST FOR ADS FOR SHOPIFY DROPSHIPPING (INTERNATIONAL MARKET ONLY) :
FACEBOOK OR TIKTOK ADS
People nowadays are struggling with running ads in the international market for the dropshipping store. They are confused about which platform we should go for. Today, I will share with you some useful tips on which platform to choose for Shopify DS.
WHICH PLATFORM TO CHOOSE?
Basically, Facebook ads required proper strategy and planning and more importantly the budget. As we don't know in DS which product will work for you. So preparing strategy n planning for each product will be difficult. Moreover, you MUST have a good budget in order to start with Facebook ads. Because most people back off after spending a few bucks.
People think running ads is just clicking on create a campaign and here we generate 7 Figures. But in reality, that’s not the case. You should know how the Facebook algorithm works, how to reduce CPA, be Familiar with every metric, At what levels the FB algorithm tracks, etc.
If you got a healthy budget then you can go for it but even then I will suggest investing that budget on TikTok you will get more conversions than FB with less spending.
TikTok ads are cheap wrt to Cost, CPM, CPC, etc. If I talk about Facebook ads the normal CPM is above $20. However, in Tiktok ads, you will get a CPM of less than $15. DS product works well on TikTok if you market them properly.
BUDGET REQUIRED:
For Facebook Ads: At least $3500/month or more. This budget is for the product price between $1-$100.
For TikTok Ads: At least $1500-$2000/month for the product price less than $50 and $2000-$3000 for the product price between $50-$100. For more than $100 ticket price products, the ad budget will increase.
CONCLUSION:
I would recommend going for TikTok, not FB if you are doing DS. I personally don't recommend FB ads for DS ONLY if you have a LIMITED budget. Why I so much emphasis not to go for Facebook ads is because MOSTLY people got a low budget. Might be, other Media buyers might not agree, so it depends.
At the initial stage, all are seeking to generate sales and then invest more. Rather just spending on ads. Facebook takes time to collect data IF you got a low budget like spending $20-$50/day and obviously also it would take time to get optimized. So for each product, it will take lots of time and effort to collect data and scale.
